COMMENTS: We love that Maggie is a lead female character who the other characters clearly look up to. The Ferocious Beast is anything but ferocious in that he actually is very sensitive and mostly goofy. Hamilton is the rare bossy character on the preschool show but, mostly, is quite delightful. He breaks the mold of stereotypes of male characters in that he is a clean-freak and the most domestic character we have seen in this category of shows. The supporting characters tend to be more aligned with their stereotypical characteristics based on their gender.
